What Happened to Jacques Station?

As the title suggests, just out of the blue, I remembered the GalNet/Newsletter (click here) story about the moving orbis starport and how they said they'd give us updates on where Jacques Station was and where it would go during the maintenance downtime or something. So I'm just wondering if anyone has came across the station at all or if it hasn't moved at all since it was last mentioned? I'm not complaining, as weird as it sounds, it's just been on my mind lately and I may have to plot a course there just for the apparent rares that it has on board. :D

The rare goods Jaques sells are called Quinentian Stills. I went there earlier today and brought 16 tons of them (could have had 18 tons if I'd had the space) to Tsu in time for the CG finish.

I forget the system name - as suggested, search on Jaques should get you it - but he's somewhere out "west" of Sol, roughly 200 ly out, not a long trek.

I never knew you could search for a specific station in the navigation tabs. You learn something new everyday!

I visited him these days for the first time. Forgot about the system. It was a catalouge number i think.


He sells pocket size devices that produce 10ml liquer shots out of any juice.

It's in HP 1732...something. It has been for a few weeks now. I was under the impression it should move every 1-2 weeks.
Nevertheless, I call it home and my base for exploration missions. Now if it only would jump more often...

Yup. Just do a search for Jaque on the galaxy map

Why should it look any different to other stations? Or am I missing something?

Only difference is the station announcements and mahoosive engines strapped to it.

Currently on my way to Sgr A. Jaques was my last layover before heading out, and will be my first port of call when returning. Repair, refit for rares trading, stock up on Jaques Quintessential (not correct name, but close, and arguably more appropriate) Stills, and sell enough of my exploration data to at least get to friendly status.

I'll get you a tissue to wipe away the tears ;) From what I read - Jaques worked at the station for a few thousand years, saved enough cash to buy it, modify it and stick some frikin huge engines on it. What more do you want? Giant kittens painted on the side?
