Had a really great day on ED today!!

Spent the day at Bast supporting the guys and gals bringing in meds as part of the community goal. I wasn't transporting meds myself, but instead used my Vulture to try to keep the heads down of as many player and NPC pirates as I could, to try and give the haulers a fighting chance. I wasn't the only one in support either as there were a few other CMDRS doing the same thing.

It was a long day in the cockpit (made easy as it's been raining all day here in the UK), but well worth the effort, and there really was a sense of community keeping watch over the haulers. Pocketed just over a million in bounties throughout the day with some cracking fights, and managed to not lose a ship, but I wasn't there for the cash or glory, just the spirit of a great game. Great comradery amongst all - both player pirates and haulers. Oh and some comedy moments trying to catch a very persistant Cobra CMDR (you know who you are) :D

Keep up the community goals FD. When they work they work spectacularly well. Thanks for a great game.

That's great. Stuff like that is what Elite is all about.

I find CGs the most positive experiences in Elite so far. There is always a great community spirit in the destination station. And seeing all these real people coming in and out of the station is s sight to behold.

When I do not feel like hauling goods myself on trading CGs, or when I feel that i'va had enough hauling, I too like to take my Clipper and help the traders by hunting CG saboteur douchebags.

That's great. Nice to see a post that isn't whining and complaining (yep, I'm guilty of that sometimes). When I burnout on the trading end of things (currently enjoying it 'cept for my overheating L6) I'm going to try your end of things. Anyway, I really enjoy Elite D. and glad someone else is too!

I saw you out and about while running meds, appreciate the cover!

and +rep for the positivity good to see, was a fun day. (and yes the pouring rain certainly made it easier to justify an all day ED binge)

Positivity love the positivity.

I wish the CGs were better implemented into the game.

I just have zero interest in them when they haven't been brought to my attention whilst playing. I don't want to do something because someone in 2015 said that's what to do.

They are posted at the station involved, the thread here just makes them easier to find.

I'm in Clearwater, Florida...been raining like a mother here for 2 days. I've used it to read up on overheating L6's since we've had real bad electrical storms. I have APC backup but why take the chance... and getting grad school homework done early for a chanbe (set to graduate in 2 weeks, woohoo) ED has taken my attention away from school, lol.

The current crop of Medical Emergency CGs have been heavily reported in the in-game Galnet News over the last few weeks.
