Orders with FD?

I noticed a post about orders in the webstore.

I also ordered Beta1, and guessed that pre-order was because its not released.

However I've also ordered a wall chart, which isn't showing there.

I've tried to log into the backers app, but this is failing miserably with incorrect details entered. Password not changed, and it's cached and remembered in the browser. I've even copied and pasted the CAPTCHA text to ensure all is well and I can't log in :'(

Enter first three letters from CAPTCHA (as it's written there), not all of it :) Lot of us got caught in this net previously.

Hi Bikky,

The only items that will show up from your pledge rewards on the online store are those that have also been made commercially available (at this point basically the digital game copy, or any early access downloads). It isn't indicative of your pledge level- you'll still need to refer to the old backer app for that.

In regards to logging into the old backer app, are you maybe forgetting to only input the first 3 letters of the Captcha code? You definitely wouldn't be the first. :p

Obviously, the fact of having separated the two databases, the old and the new, bring of various problems. Nevertheless, with the MCD of Merise method, it would have been quite possible to integrate everyone into the same database as currently (in the new database for the new store) but with the advantage in addition to make the distinction between the Kickstarter backers (and the backers of the old store) and the backers of the new store. All this is very amazing

Bear in mind that you don't have to enter the full captcha on the backers app... it tells you which characters to enter.

Also, the new store does not show any items which are not available in the store. They have created orders in the new store based on what you pledged for in the backers app, but note that they do still have the original backers app info for any additional items.

I can't believe how many have failed to read the instructions. Or to understand them. ROFL! :D

Remember, FD do things their own way. :)

What can I say, I'm a bloke, we don't read instructions, then complain when it doesn't work :D

I got caught by that, not an inability to understand :mad: but just because it looked so simple I 'assumed' all I had to do was type it in :rolleyes:

Maybe FD are harvesting passwords? I tried every password I've ever used in the last 3 years trying to log in!

It would take some 30 seconds to highlight that text, and save countless numbers of FD customers getting caught out - really quite odd that is hasn't been changed to be honest :(

While you are in there, check your shipping address on the order.

I changed mine when the store came up, but the order is still wrong, sending my collectors edition to U.K. - I live in Denmark :mad:

Oh dear.

I've got no worries there, Home and work are in the UK and only 5 minutes away from each other.

I reset mine before I found out what I did wrong :rolleyes:

Did you not read the EULA?



Your actually required to move to the UK now.
