Conflict Zones - only for Wing's

I recently had a firefight in zones, it was a long battle. In solo play it is difficult.
But in Wing that's another story. I came to the conclusion, and you probably know already that, some of us, use this tactic as i speak.

Tactic is for Wing against enemy in Conflict zone's:
Four of US using a tactic of concentrated fire directed to enemy's Power plant.
Powerful tactics, there is no streptomycin for her.

Everything dies very quickly by that.

You also have to split the profits, i can go into a high intensity conflict zone in my anaconda and stay until my ammo is depleted. Just depends on the ship you're in.

eh not really I've been able to basically clear out zones solo on my dropship. Sure it starts out (somewhat) even in numbers but if you're fast when it comes to dropping the enemy ships it gets to the point where I still have about 9 friendlies still alive and the 2-4 enemy ships spawning get quickly routed

I guess it depends on your ship? I recently took my Conda to a CZ solo and stayed long enough to build up 4.8 million in bounty vouchers. I can't remember if I left because I was tired or because I ran out of boosters. Either way...that's like 3 or 4 hours straight.

sounds about right I usually make 1.5-2.2m in the High Zones but I don't necessarily keep track of time I always lose myself fighting :D

I do occasionally have a run where I bite more than I can chew and suddenly I got a conda, python and 2 eagles attacking me from behind while I'm attacking another python and I have to bail having only made like 300k :D

Hi All,

At the moment I prefer to do conflict zones by myself. I am 97% between Dangerous and Deadly. One thing we noted, is you really do share the kill in a wing, this includes combat rating affects.
Obviously I am selfish, but I will be keen to wing up at about 1% deadly.

On another note, even a modest C/D Cobra can make good money (1-2MCr) in conflict zones by itself - well low intensity ones. Head for the greens and follow a group of 3 or 4 around sharing their kills, seems to work really well at the low end.

for our group
Conflict Zones are more like a training area where we can train and apply wing tactics , weapon testing , power managment , coordination in wing flight and so on
we take all new recruits there after a while in the team , as a spinnoff we can all make credits and rank up in combat

If there is a wing in the opposing faction I either die or run. They brought more people, having an advantage over the enemy is a valid tactic. Don't think that war has anything to do with fairness.

My Python have some issues with equipment. I'm able to play only Low intensity - Conflict zone.
With reduced possibility to get caught in multiple fire.

You can do HICZ/LICZ even with Vulture... If OP, would post his Bulid and how much creds got, that would might help to suggest viable bulid for CZ. Python, even maxed, need some good pips manage to get most of it, thats make lots of diffrence, especialy in CZ.

If you found yourself caught into crossfire, try boost away with 4 pips on shields, then back from diffrent direction. Stay with greens all the time! If you got separated, enemy tends to spawn right behind yours thrustas... Greens tends to gangbang on single taget rather pick each is own, so when you notice this, join them! If you help them, instead of tryin rambo alone, still gonna get bond for kill and you notice suddenly that you can stay in CZ for long time.

Some tips for Solo Hi-CF
In General;
The AI is doing 'dummy engagements', i.e. they are not focusing fire on you. So even if you find yourself engaged by a python over there and an Anaconda there, just stay close to your green-team and they will engage them.

  • The AI, both friendly and hostiles, is more interested in the 'biggest damage dealer / threat'. If you need help, fly over to your neighboring Green Anaconda, and leave the enemy there until your shields are up again.
  • If you want the AI's attention, deal a bit of damage - a tad more than the green AI, and they will come like puppies over to you. Kill them at your own leisure. Viper's should never get away from your Conda again.
  • Using turrets may be a bad idea for two reasons, however if you are prepared you can use it.
    1) Turrets may agro the random AI's nearby (get the attention of the hostile) and they will start doing focused fire on you. Because of 'highest threat' rules.
    2) Usually poor damage output. C3 beams turrets is roughly the same damage output as a C1 Pulse.
  • If you get away from the green and kill all the red, the reds may respawn where *you* are. The spawn moves to your position. Be prepared to take focused fire. The spawn seems to stay within 10KM of the jump-in point though.
  • Some waves of Red occasionally spawns with a focus on the player. Roughly every ~45 to 60 mins.

And if you do not carry ammo-based equipment (ammo/cells/chaff), you should be able to stay for 3-6 hours depending on how you help out your green little buddies and your fuel consumption.
Stay aware, stay safe.

I'm sure I don't know what you're talkin' 'bout...

Sorry, you failed...due to your completely 'correct' use of apostrophes :D

But on topic:

I would agree. RES for solo, and CZ for wings.

Also, having a macro for Target Wingman + Target Wingman's Target is the key to success IME

I've had some great fun, and some hairy battles, over the last week in a wing in CZs.

You might try to check out this site and play with your build.
However with 5xbeams your weapon energy pool will drop as fast as loose pants.
