I created a replacement background video for the game

So last night I was fiddling around with the idea of replacing the existing menu background video that plays, so I took some videos from the Launch, 1.1, 1.2 and Beta 3 trailers and spliced the clips together.

What resulted was this:

To replace the background video, go into your Products/FORC_FDEV_XXXX/Movies folder and replace the FrontEnd0.webm file with this one. Be sure to back up the original in case you want to switch back.

Its about 171 mb, lasts for three minutes, and you can view what it looks like from the YouTube preview on the site. So, if you're itching for a more action-focused background video, this could be the one for you!

I like the first quarter. I'd prefer it has that on a loop. I don't sit at the menu long enough for more than it takes to load and press my selections.

I like it, but I think it would work better with longer segments - you have some very short ones stitched together quickly. A menu screen would be better off with longer one-take views.

But it's a great idea, something to shake up the menu a bit!

It shows they know what we want the game to be. Too bad the ships in the video weren't flying through syrup like ours do. 8000 *c? No problem. 500 m/s? big problem.

I guess I had more clips to just show off the various styles of gameplay. The video demonstrates high intensity combat, mining, pirating, possible SpaceLegs expansion and stations. Would have been nice to find exploration, but I couldn't find any clips relevant to that.

Damn, i should make my own of theese.
Would probably only feature planets & stuff, but i'm fine with that.
