Sag A - What's hides below the event horizon?

Question for any of you Explorers who've visited Sag A:

Has anyone taken the plunge into the darkness?

If so, what happened?

Is it just filled with bookshelves?

No, you can't enter a black hole in game, so no one knows.

Can a Dev please confirm this? I've had a few brown-trouser moments getting a bit too close to a BH. It would be really cool to get close enough to be forced out of SC to see the lensing, but I don't want to lose all my data. If I flew so close to a BH that I dropped to normal space, would I be able to get out again? How much heat would I get?

You emerge from the black hole in orbit around a planet wracked with a conflict between two cultures, one glorifying rational thought while the other holds forward love as the only truth. But when you see this occurring and your mind cries out for the war to stop, your thoughts touch those of the combatants and the conflict ends as they realize that both the heart and the mind must work together. And then they make you a god. Game over.

you can find a lot of films. it's impossible, same things happends to planets ( you can't land on them ).

Here's one I visited earlier today. Lots of gravity distortion, making it seem like the ship is moving sideways. I moved closer to the black hole until I encountered the exclusion zone. So, maybe black holes will be made dangerous again later? FDev knows!

Neat, I didn't know there were exclusion zones rendered, - do you remember how close that was?

I swear I've read this ending in one of those 'choose your own adventure' books!!

When you enter a black hole....
you will be ejected at the next "Starbuck's".

"Now with Black-Hole flavor."

Nearest Starbuck's?
Sagittarius A*, the great Coffeeinator!

My guess is you'd see some time reversal!

I don't actually know what the effects would be, let me think about this.

I wonder what would happen if we flew through a Black Hole, I think I'll start a thread about this.

Can't wait for Elite: Dangerous...

Not exactly. But when I dropped out of Supercruise due to being 'too close' the distance was 25 km. I'd estimate 5-10 km or so before getting the 'Body Exclusion Zone' warning and being unable to go closer.
