There's an option on the poll I've never tried before. I want the Drabble poll to be as good as possible so this is just me testing it out. The question is... What does this option do?

OK, I'll bite ... which option?

So what does the "Number of choices" option do?
Allows you to set the number of choices?
For example, your poll says "Vote for three answers" but you can only select one ... they're radio buttons and not tick boxes.

I can clap with one hand ... so ner :p
(no, really, I can actually clap with one hand ... it's always amazed me people think the saying "what is the sound of one hand clapping?" is an impossible statement ... the sound of one hand clapping ... is clapping ;))

I'm fairly sure I selected 3 in the correct box but it only gave me the one radio button. It would be nice to have radio buttons instead of check boxes in the Drabble contest. I'm not entirely convinced that I didn't do something wrong, but I've never seen any polls limited to three options. It could well be a bug in the forum software. I should have taken a leaf out of your book and taken a screenshot of my options.

Alien, could you do me a big favour and set up the poll on Thursday? If you understand the poll software better than I do maybe you can get this option to work.

Not saying I understand it any better than you, but I'll give it a go.

Thanks! Sometimes a fresh set of eyes on a problem works wonders. It might be a good idea to take a screen grab at the appropriate point as well, just in case it is a bug. I would keep posting dummy polls to check but I don't want to litter the forum with dummy polls that the Mods have to clean up after me.
