Vote for your favorite paint job; Gold Fer-De-Lance vs Chrome Vulture

I don't particularly like any of those (I'd prefer if FD released some of the nice NPC paintjobs i've seen) BUT I'll say publish both. Give people options to purchase what they want.

Oh my, gold FDL is gorgeous!

I have a feeling the vulture will win because more people fly vultures, hope not though :)

I fly a vulture, but even I had to vote for the FDL, even knowing I'll probably never get a chance to buy it and fly it.

The question is, what would Tony Hadley vote for?

Thank you for coming here
I'm sorry that the paintjobs are all gone
I left them here I could have sworn

These are my FdL days
Slowly being flown away
Just another powerplay for today
Oh but I'm proud of you, but I'm proud of you

Nothing left to make me feel small
Luck has left me standing so tall

Very nice

Brett (or Zac or whoever does paintjobs at Frontier)

WHEN WILL WE HAVE EVERY PAINTJOB FOR EVERY SHIP?

That is just mean.
They are both very cool.
I do not have an FDL, but I think I go with that skin, because it is two toned.

I guess these skins will both be very expensive?
In that case it is very unlikely I will buy them.

I would love a simple striped skin for the Python.
Something like this for example:

The FDL one is awesome.

Just worried the Vulture one will win due to it being a much more common ship so more votes.

Do you guys just hate money? Why wouldn't you release both at the same time?

You guys really need to observe how Valve is making money hand over fist on their F2P games and step this sort of thing up. There's no reason why you guys can't have a team of 2 or 3 people working exclusively on new skin designs and colorways for existing ships. They represent some of the purest profit you can have and there are thousands of players like myself who would like to throw money at you but have no way to do so because (a) our ships have no skins or (b) we already own the 1 or 2 skins made available. Meanwhile, Valve's team of like 5 or 6 devs actively working on Dota 2 drop several skins every month and also enlist the community to create some for which Valve only has to approve of to add them to the game. The trade-off is that the community members who made the skin get a percentage of the profits. Win-win. The community gets new cosmetics to increase personalization, FDev gets more money for minimal effort, and designers who love the game get more incentive to play and create.

Make tools available to the community and hold some simple competitions. And put a couple of dedicated people on creating and approving new skins. Then watch your income grow.

I've been saying this to them since the kickstarter ... I may even have been the first outside of Frontier to use the word "modding" to them.
