Hello Need help here i ave just fix the ASP, and i have like 15 million for parts, and more comming så plz give my god Combat Outfit for power play vs NPC

Any ASp player that can help fit for Combat NPC Powerplay Combat ? in this Pogram from Cody ? i can take more then 15 million for parts, i have to worj harder for Cr :)
 
I actually found the Asp to be quite a decent little combat vessel once its maxed out. It has SIX hardpoints which means that it can pack quite a decent punch. Go with Two Class2 Beam Lasers and Four Class1 multi cannons and watch those pirates vapourise. The downside is the ammo will eventually run out which can be a bit frustrating if you are in a good HRES but in my opinion it's the best load out for the Asp. Happy hunting.....:):):)

Here is an Asp you can try. 15 million puts you in a budget Asp....which is fine..room to improve. I went with C modules on most modules. You can later upgrade them to A to improve its performance. Make sure when you sell your old ship you sell off all your components first and then your hull...so you don't take a 10% hit on the modules. It should give you a little more cushion. This build should do you ok. As I mentioned earlier...upgrade the modules as soon as you can afford to...never drop below rebuy x2 in reserve cash. Good luck CMDR!

Asp is pretty hard to equip well for combat with 15 million. It may be a better idea to use a more affordable ship until you can scrounge up more cash.

Thanks for the quick response, all of you boys, Okay I'll save more money so how would you build an ASP Only Combat NPC Powerplay NPC and so on, :) So, I have something to aim for and save to, Post your best tips ever the case I described without thinking about what it costs Yes i play the Open :) But if someone evil trying to kill me i run like hell :)

Thx Sir yes i am familiar with that power management of the modules, I have decided to sell both my Cobra and DB EXP both fully upgraded

<grins> That's what I like to do, and I fly a Cobra Mk III which can out-run most ships!

I know but i am Tired of Cobra! Have play it since start of game, and all drive it :p yes it is VERY GOOD, But i really Like ASP

If combat's your goal, switch to a Vulture.



Asp looks better, in my opinion


and i Love the long Jump ASP can do.

Maybe you're right that your choice is better in the end, but I'm stubborn and i will have a top ASP: P

One day I'll buy it back :) I have spend so crazy lot of time in my Cobra,So now is the time for something new :) now my ASP :) must have help of you ppl to get as cruel as possible: P

This takes massive power management

Set priorities to the numbers I have set them to. Turn off all SCB's accept the 5B's. Your KWS will need to be bound to a key so you can use it without deploying hardpoints. As soon as you deploy your hard points all priority 5 modules will turn off, including your FSD drive. If your fighting you are not jumping, scooping, interdicting, or any of the other things, so all power to fighting modules. When you have exhausted your 5b SCB you go to your module panel on the right and just simply turn "on" the first 3B set of SCB. Becasue the 5b's were set to 4 they will automatically turn off so your 3b's can be powered then just continue to turn on the next SCB as your current one runs out. By the time you get to your 2A rack it is get the hell out time and you stow your hardpoints and jump away...using the last set of SCB to keep your shields alive as you try to run. Takes practice but if you work at it you can really stretch your ships to their upper limits with power management like this.

Wow I like your build: P but has been a little skeptical of the pulse laser have not gotten it work properly for me, though it was on the Cobra I experiment with Pulse Laser though: P is certainly different here Thank you so much: P

Hold on to train in stressful situations that turn on and off modules, etc. when needed :) was about to die :) but came away :) Play with the X box 360 controll and keyboard

Well.. as far as which Asp would be the best that's really down to individual preference. Particularly concerning weapon loadout. But when I was doing combat in a Asp here is what I used.
Nothing really fancy. 4 pulse lasers to drop the shields & 2 multi-cannons to shred the hull. Only thing that got tricky was managing power for the shield cells once the first bank was dry.
However this Asp is up around the 41M price point.
