Has this been done already?
Yes I've done it nearish to a star before.
Has this been done already?
Perhaps the equivalent of a Genesis-device for seeding a waterworld with life. It is designed to function in liquid, not in outer space, but that provides it with the capacity to survive for a short-period of time in a vacuum before it deteriorates and ejects its contents.
have you guys tried to fuel it with fuel transfer limpets alredy?
I think we need to think on the whale noise as the clue...as frontier has said "we are over thinking it".
I know a collector drone has been used to ahh collect a ua but anyone know if other drones have been used on them, prospector or fuel transfer , i didnt notice anything in the wiki.
Only reason i ask is this:

It seems jean luc piccard it helping collect whale snot using drones, it cant be just a coincidence surely first nimoy now jean luc.
By the way, never actually used a drone so not sure how they work...so please excuse me if i'm talking nonsense.
You guys seriously need a hint.
Or a nudge in the right direction at least.
You guys? So what are you then? As you've been making suggestions too.
I have been following this thread and decided to put some more effort into searching for Starship One (or what is left of her). I reread all the relevant Galnet stories and one of them suggested that the debris could be scattered in interstellar space. This reminded me of the time I went searching for Voyager 1 many months ago so I decided to go find Voyager 1 again to refresh my memory on the mechanics of finding objects far from a star. I remember the last time I searched it was easy to find them, there was simply a point marked in space without a label over 2 million light seconds away, the only trick was you had to be looking in the right direction to notice them. But the last time I searched for the Voyagers I didn't pay attention to details like at what range does the waypoint became visible, was it listed in the navigation panel, was it visible in normal space or only supercruise, etc. So I returned to Sol to gather this information in case we are supposed to use the same mechanic to find Starship One wreckage. I thought this was a genius plan but when I arrived on the outskirts of the Sol system I could not find the probes. Have the mechanics changed for finding these things? Has anyone seen them lately? Have they made them more difficult to locate? Do you have to get closer before the waypoint shows up? If they have changed the mechanic for locating distant secret objects this could be very relevant to the search for Starship One. Alternatively, I am just having an off night and am missing something obvious.
This is how i imagine how he gets out and wrecks our ships from inside the cargohold
I have a new pet theory

I have a new pet theory, but I'm not sure my fellow scientists are prepared for the gravity of what I'm about to suggest...
