Exploration data value?

There are a number of guides that list the value of objects that can be found, scanned and the data sold to the faction of your choice. None of them agree on the value of certain objects for instance
neutron stars ,one guide says 22000 each the next guide says 44 to 66000 credits.
what is the actual value in the current version of Elite?

The base values got doubled some time ago. So, I'd say 44k is correct. 66k if you get the first discovered bonus.

I just turned in 2300 neutrons. The value was between 36-38k, the wiki page was in the most agreement with what I observed. Plus for many(99% if you go far enough out) you will get a 50% bonus. I wish there was an interface in the game that just told you how many of each kind you had scanned and what they were worth...oh well.

Size of the object also determines the value greatly as I got over 300k for doing a detailed scan of Sagittarius A where as the smaller black hole at Mintaka was worth a lot less.

Size matters only a little bit afaik, Sagittarius A is a supermassive black hole and therefore unique giving more.

To the OP the commonly used infographics seem to be these:

Note: Both of these are at least 3 months out of date, if you search for the makers names you should hopefully be able to find actual ones. I think both came from this forum so you should be able to find it pretty easy if you ask over on the exploration sub-forum:

The rewards were roughly doubled between 1.2 and 1.3, so you may be reading out-of-date info. The values on the wiki page are current.
Since the rewards depend somewhat on the mass of the object it's not possible to give exact figures, so the wiki page lists typical ranges of values.
