Its diffidently advertised on the home page, I would assume this up coming Monday-Wednesday is when we will see the release. Not sure if they are going to wait until Gamescom which starts I think Wednesday, but I suspect it will release Tuesday. I'm more or less looking forward to the new ships, if the Condor is flyable outside of CQC and the fact that it seems like they are re-introducing weapon variants such as Over Charged.

Condor will not be flyable outside of CQC, it is simply too small for a friendship drive.

Where did you see that? And the new ship's are in 1.4 as far as I know and the upcoming update seem's to be just CQC and bug fixes and not the full 1.4.
this makes me wonder, what if we uninstall and reinstall following said advert link?

I'm here, I j just don't put a lot of faith in the hype. That picture could have been photoshopped real easily. Also you see it saying "Sponsored", but not by whom. I've looked all over concerning Elite Dangerous and I haven't seen anything about an official cqc championship anywhere except in this thread. I'll believe it when I see it in an update or when an authorized member of the Dev team announces it. Until then, it's just hype.
It is showing up in the "sposored" box rotation, but it isn't released. I've seen it about 2 or 3 time's today but still no update.

Sorry, I'm on PC. We don't have a "sponsored" box; at least not one that I've ever seen. So I'll take your word for it.
Oh, well it'll get to you in time then...CQC I mean...probably the sponsor box to if it's Windows now that I think about it.
