What are the galactic coordinates (please) for the system with only the M5 star? I can only find one system when I search for V1500
It's pretty near. If I looked for the numbers right, the coordinates are about:
603.5 : -438 : -1079

Nearest star is V1504 Orionis, but there are two of those too - V2067 Orionis gets you pretty close.

no I don't think so but it's rather hard and risky becuase you know...over heating......also I'll say this again......computer core?

Look at the last post on Galnet, there was a fire aboard the antares, which could have over heated the engines. I say someone should enter into silent mode, charge the engines, wait until they reach above 150 degrees an then align to your destination and jump.

As far as I know we can't affect anythinng on the ship computer core.

I like this - am going to have to try jumping while scooping see if i can burn up :)

as an explorer I have reached 200+ degrees while jumping. Granted I didnt have a UA on board but we can rule out misjumps due to heat haha

never said i was a good explorer.

I'm thinking, maybe the feds are not trasporting the UA. Maybe they are experimenting (without telling the crews) with large-mass miss jumps.

they do refer to the success of a "mission" during the dialog. If only we knew more about that mission.

Hey!

Just found this massive thread =)

Is there any summary on what type of signal analysis ha been done on the sounds? Read the wiki but only found info on in-game tests.

Look at first post for links with some answers to your questions.

Thanks thats where I was looking - I am just spacy today - not finding things ;) .... need more COFEEEEE

Large mass and drive slaving seem to be the key. The UA could possibly ad some kind of Casimir drive effect.

Ya now that you mention it - especially early on i managed to toast myself while jumping more than a few times .... I was thinking how we have the power settings - can we rig it somehow that during the countdown the FSD gets turned off due to power management settings ?

So, we're all buying Type-9s and loading them to the gills?

@Dommarraa - Might have mis-replied to you earlier, I'm thinking. Concerning your dull time for SSSs in Timocani. Noted for a possible change in locale. Thanks.

Could this be why the escorts disappear? So a T9 carrying a UA might trigger a misjump in a winged large vessel during a slaved jump?

edit: ie, a combination of wing jump mechanics plus module degradation in the T9 carrying the UA
