Screw sleep, I need to know what happens!

I have em' anti-depression and sleep pills right next to me.

Depending on the announcement I will:

1. Knock em' off the table and throw my head back for a howl of delight.
2. Take the former and the latter to go to sleep.
3. Overdose and ... profit?

According to my calculation, the three options have 1%, 94%, and 5% chance of occurring respectively.

This is exciting!

Some people here taking this far to serios. Why not getting hyped for something good? Its fun!

And if its not PL then... well, ED fans are used to be disapointed IMO! ;)

In the last 2 years my long-term dream game Elite 4 grows into a incomplete, grindy and boring wannabe-MMO called Elite "Dangerous", so nothing can shock me anymore! :)

Yeah 6pm Aus time. 2.5hrs or so. Unless you're in Western Australian, in which case you'll have to wait another 47years as its still 1968 over there.

If you think it is 3PM in the UK in 2.5 hours you are wrong of course. At the time of this message it is 06:30 AM. 8.5 hours left.

these are the only announcements that would result in no backlash from the forums.

1. Anaconda paint jobs.

2. Perm bans for cheaters.

3. Branching missions

4. Escort, transport missions

5. Audio from engines is refactored so that it reflects the acceleration rather than the velocity because doing the latter would be stupid and make no sense but currently appears to be the case.

There would be lots of backlash if these things would turn out to be the "colossal" announcement. :p

I think at this point the only thing that wouldn't result in a backlash would be planetary landing.

That's going to upset people because it's a paid expansion.

Bla bla bla why aren't you diverting all available resources into making more free stuff for me? bla bla unfinished game bla bla and so forth.

I'll make a minor stink if it is planetary landing. Mainly just because I don't think the game is ready for it and it is still in need of further build out. If it is PL and then we are going to do all these other things, too...I might feel okay. Otherwise, I just think PL will add a novelty that will wear off quickly without the richness needed in other areas, where you will still spend most of your time.
