Waaaay back around the time the Leviathan theory started, we had a few posts back and forth on possible ammonia worlds, including Quy/Quiness and Merlin (which I think has been terraformed since the FFE days?)

Merlin has been tested. Ammonia world has been tested (maybe not the ideal temp?).

Europa may be an alternative to Merlin, when it comes to ecosystem. It's at least a type of place that would be natural to chose as a dev.

Once again I have been thinking a bit. It hasen't done us any god so far, but here goes.

What if the UA is an ancient Thargoid setteling probe?

That French scientist on GalNet hinted it was from a different time.

So, what kind of planets do Thargoids like? We don't know much, but we know they liked Merlin.

As Merlin has been teraformed, the closest thing I can think of is Europa.
Europa is supposed to have salt water oceans covered by ice, just like Merlin used to have.

Could it be something.

This is a theory I like!
"[...] look back at our own past [...]", "Don’t let history repeat itself! Remember!", "Learn your history, people".

I think I've seen somewhere that once the UA spelt the "old" name of a celestial body. I'm probably mistaken though. So it could be a 50-year-old beacon with an old database looking for the perfect system for the Thargoids to settle. But then, it has nothing to do with SS1 or the Antares Incident. And there's nobody to tell us "hey guys, SS1 and the Antares Incident are not related to the UA"...

Yeah, I know - that is why I was trying to point Bitstorm to the posts where we had listed four or five ammonia planets with their pressure, temperature etc. I don't have time to look for it right now but it is back there somewhere, around the time Leviathan first came up and we were looking for Liaququ.

Asters rings have been used to teraform Merlin I think.

That was someone's working theory anyways... ;-)

Hmm. Europa actually have a weak oxygen atmosphere.

And I didn't notice that the Ross 154 chapter was writen by DB.

On that note..... I think looking over the gazetteer would be a great idea and check out all the systems written by DB... maybe... just maybe something a bit more is there.

I've seen Ammonia Worlds in the bubble with strange names such as X-2487 and X-2488 in HIP 15310 have they been tested?

If they have been in space a long time and give off morse code then that is the same as the human black boxes. I think the black boxes have morse code too?

We could have been exchanging 'black boxes' with each other long before space travel.

Thanks for the invitation to the test, awesome sight when 7 Cmdrs goes to hyperspace :)
I've now seen firsthand that the P2P & instancing still needs a lot of work, totally lost most of you...

SOL is the only system I know that has whales and dolphins, has an UA been sold in one of the Earth stations?

Thanks for organising Ratking, unfortunately for some reason shadow play decided tonight was the night it would stop working so no footage from me. There was a cool moment the first time we jumped when I had the courier and an anaconda in witchspace with me and I got quite excited, but it was just the game catching up with itself. Looked cool though.

Also must confirm again total bugged "Wings"/ instancing. Mostly the same as at "Sleipnir 12xSAP 8 test.

As CMDR Britain was all the time "in Wing" (compare with Ratkings video!) and i see him not one time, no real gameplay possible ...
Same for voice comm! Only hear Ratking and Zenith. So lot confusing monologes from Ratking for me ...:D
For "since" it was OK but for an military operation we need total other stuff ;-) :D:D:D:

We salute you!

Here's the synchronised jumping from my perspective.

Then there's the small matter of me jumping the gun... yes Ratking15, I said I'd upload it! :)

Finally the best attempt when we managed to jump at about the same time...

So here's a weird and crazy test: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HmaV8Lg9Va4

Also sorry but my screen resolution was set above what it should have been due to a graphics driver update changing my settings.....

PS Yes this was pre planned 2 days ago and took a bit of work to sort out....if people really want me to, I'll post the pm's.

Thanks.
Can someone explain what test did you performed? I cannot see the videos right now :( sorry
