I purchased the new Chrome Paint job and it is the best money I have spent on a color scheme thus far. It looks absolutely foreboding. I would like to know if this could be added to all existing and future ships? My Imperial Clipper would also like to have this color scheme as well. I would highly recommend this paint upgrade to anyone currently sporting around in a Vulture. Bless you all and have a good one and fly safe. :)

I bought the chrome vulture too. It is really slick looking. But tbh... I'm still trying to get over the disappointment in the texture mapping and issues with the tactical and vibrant paint jobs for the vulture. If u havnt seen how horrible these paint jobs look like... Look into it, it makes me feel like FD takes no time for quality.

I am not able to find any flaws in at all in the Chrome Paint Scheme. I have purchased quite a few Paint Schemes for every Ship I have owned and before, my favorite one was yellow. The new one needs to be available for all ships in my humble opinion. Of course, everyone's take on this will be different. Bless you all and fly safe.

Lol.. The photos I just posted show flaws. I did contact support about this and they said they are aware of the issue and will fix them. They gave no time line tho. When I get home from work ill post exactly what he said.

Sounds like a very reasonable response to me. I hope you are treating support with respect and replied with a "thank you for your response, glad to hear it's not just me, I look forward to the fix!" type message.

In the mean time, I hope you don't crash into the letterbox because of the smear of paint running down the windshield blocking your view or something! ;)

I think it looks excellent. They should have probably called it 'black chrome' though so as to avoid a bit of a backlash on the forums about it not looking 'shiny and chrome'. I think a lot of people were expecting a tin-foil wrap.

I is very happy with mine, currently out dealing death in Bast. So much so that I didn't mind the 200ly schlep over there in it :)

It's one of the livery options in Outfitting. Make sure you're in your Vulture, than go to Outfitting, select the Livery tab, click on the 'Paint' option and 'install' - you should then get the option to apply the Chrome paint to your vulture.

No, you can only buy the paint jobs from the Frontier store, plus some other real world merchandise. The only way to buy the ships is in-game, with in-game currency.
