I was in Harma and the pegasi sector last night looking for SSS.
Almost all signals were SSS. I never seen anything like this before. It was just so busy.
I got most of it on vid and alot of the convoys I couldn't get the cargo, they were too well defended.
They were either Hafnium 178, painite or Sap8 Core. I never came across the UA last night but the SSS were spawning real quick and half were convoy's if not more.

The only thing different I was doing is I had an elite rank mission to find 2 x Sap8 Core.
Not sure if this made them spawn but everywhere was busy with SSS.


So I have Hafnium 178 and I think some painite if anybody needs it.
I used the only Sap8 core I had to complete another mission to see if it triggered anything.

I can't help feeling they've adjusted things recently so there's more variation between systems. Like there's now pockets of this sort of thing that I don't remember noticing before.

In Kamilagro I found virtually every single SSS was military, over and over again, I spent a few days there but moved on only because there's been no UA sighting there so I didn't know if it was possible in that system.

@Mobius:Bast: 1 SSS every ~3.8 minutes, moving towards Hart Station at 30km/s. Average measured over 12 SSS'

Mostly pirates, 1 Fed convoy with Hafnium 178.

Edit: CG Goal reached, however still 3 days left for the CG to run...

Ok, I'm not convinced there are actually more convoys in Bast. Mostly pirate SSS.

And they seem have dried up now the CG is over.

I was in G 203-47 a week ago about 50% of SSS were hafnium convoys. Its the most populated system in the galaxy which is supposed to have an effect on spawn so is security level I think.
I also tried in Lave during first weeks of UA hunting and almost all SSS were military convoys, but that was a long time ago ...... sigh, we'll get this one day.

Surprised it hasn't been solved yet? Maybe because your hints are to difficult to find/understand FD! xD

Thanks to all those who've been punting up situ observations. Does seem to be a bit of a balance between Bast and Timocani to me at this point. (For what that's worth!)

"will evolve" says to me that even if we do suss this out now, we'll have to wait for Horizons (which I'm not buying) for the next step in the story. Then probably the next season for the next step etc. Still, the "surprised we haven't solved it" suggests that we could get some kind of closure on part of it now. And we're all thick cos we haven't solved it yet.

Re: operation biscuit barrel - I'll be in for this, but not for a couple of hours yet ( apparently the human body needs food from time to time or it withers and dies - has anyone done this experiment? Is there an explosion and a space warp when that happens?) I'll bring a vulture for some pew pew support. Be good to get a little organisation on it, maybe two wings of fighters, one for each condo, and someone to take on the t9 and scoop. Anyone up for this? So shall I head for timocani or bast?

Hey guys, just crawling out of bed. I'll start working on the second wave of cmdrs to join the canonn after breakfast. Grats on the new UA! Good luck with the hunt. I see that the Q&A hasn't yielded any fruit though... I'll be wiki diving for leads today haha
