I suppose the next question is; is the game stable at the moment?

It was getting increasingly bad yesterday and almost unplayable last night.

What were you playing?

I was in solo last night and had no problems at all. I tried Open and it dropped out once so went back to solo.

Couldn't get a game in CQC though - tried about 5 different times during the evening and not once was it able to find a game. Closest I came to one was when there were 4 of us in a lobby but still waiting on other players, then it dropped out.

Exactly the same for me. Open was flaky to connect to, and I accepted a mission from the Bulletin Board, got a server error, but when I logged back in the mission had been accepted. (250,000Cr for 10T of Imperial Slaves. Oh yeah!)
I tried CQC at around 6pm, 9pm and again at 7:30am today.

If there aren't many of us trying to use CQC should we try to agree on one game mode for now? e.g. Deathmatch. That way a small number of us have a better chance of getting a game.

Matchmaking server

Hey the upgrade is great, I have seen no frame lag at all, but last night I came close to jacking it all in.

In the space of 5 hours game time I have 9 errors/kick outs all down to 'Failure to see matchmaking server.'

Will try again today to see what happens

Cheers,

Harry

We were all having to play on Solo last night due to this.

I have been trying the Open again today as they wanted more information and specific times but it all seems good so far :)

Famous last words! darnit!

Yep the servers have not been working well since the patch, hopefully they have sorted it out and it was due to the millions of new players they got :p

Matchmaking server seems to have settled down for me but bulletin boards are still failing to load sometimes. I did figure out where they were going with the new stick setup and now love having yaw and roll at the same time.

Matchmaking server ?

So I started playing in Solo after the last patch because every ten minutes you would disconnect and get the lost connection to matchmaking service error or however it said it. Anyways how is open today has it got more stable:S

lol

I have played on Open for the last couple of days and I literally just swapped back to Solo as I got d/cd a couple times.

Timing ;) lol

Refinery communication to server failed

So a few of us now have experienced this annoying bug and I think I've worked out how and when it occurs. Basically, if two items are refined simultaneously, i.e. converted to cargo at the same time, there's a high chance the bug will occur. I've managed to replicate this three or four times now while mining cheap crap just to test the theory. If you're out there mining, I know it's painful to do, but if you have say Painite and Platinum sitting at a high percentage in the refinery and therefore a good likelihood of them completing together, vent the Platinum. Again, I've managed to replicate this scenario a few times and so long as only one item refines at a time, I've not encountered the bug.

Can anyone confirm otherwise; is it entirely random? Also, has anyone managed to find a way out of the loop once it begins? I've tried everything from dropping cargo to powering down modules to a repair/reboot with no luck.

@L0CI: Thanks, I'll give that a try tonight. My Wife and I are Military Miners, and are just about livid over this bug. +1
