It means the Holiday Season - an American term that means around the time of Thanksgiving through to Christmas. I'm guessing it was just a useful way of giving a rough timeframe without nailing it down to any specific date.
I must admit I personally would prefer we had British terms as it is an English company.
Horizons is Series 2 and coming some time in December 2015 would do it for me. Not only is it more representative of the company, it actually makes more sense.
At least it is not coming in the "Fall"(although an Autumn release for the beta could well be a possibility)
Do not get me wrong, I am not Anti American or anything, I just do not see the need to drop the native language of the games origins.![]()

I don't know why the people at FD went for "seasons" n "holidays". They used to be a British company or so i was lead to believe. Pathetic attempt to be trendy i suppose. Fail.
Since I was on holiday on Friday last week and Horizons failed to materialise as clearly promised, I feel so hard done by that FD blatantly lied to me. I really think I should start a rant thread about this.![]()
I had typed up a response to the utter ignorance being shown in this thread, but decided it's not worth it.
