Come on Frontier...in a galaxy of billions, the only adverts are for Zorgon Peterson and Zaonce Bank....? There are LOADS of rare goods, how about sticking up a few new billboards?? ��

All these could be ideas for the Ads

  • Rare Goods
  • The Other shipyards - Unless Gutamaya don't advertise as it is too pedestrian
  • The Minor Factions in the system
  • The Major Faction Navies (The Federal Navies needs you)
  • The Power Play NPCs
  • The various Companies listed in the Galaxy map descriptions, they even have tag lines already

I think more advertisements outside and inside of stations and outposts is a good idea. I also think nav beacons could benefit from having ads around them. It would also be neat to see burma shave type series ads on the docking port flight path. For those that don't know, Burma-Shave was an American brand of brushless shaving cream, famous for its advertising gimmick of posting humorous rhyming poems on small sequential highway roadside signs. Many of the burma shave signs, besides being advertisements for burma shave, were also public service announcements such as If you dislike / Big traffic fines / Slow down / Till you / Can read these signs / Burma-Shave and Past / Schoolhouses / Take it slow / Let the little / Shavers grow / Burma-Shave. Each phrase separated by the / was on a different sign.

this I find weird. The massive attention to detail on some things (sound design) and lack of effort on others (space station variety / billboards)

I want this so badly. It seriously cant take that much time. The ads all rotate anyway, just make a bunch and throw em in the rotation!
