I have read the 1st 2 books you produced - very entertaining, and that's coming from someone who doesn't normally read comics 
Community Event / Creation Release my comic with elite Dangerous?

Maybe Email FD and say that you will pledge 50% of comic sales to the kickstarter for the game, if they let you use the rights. Offer them more % and your chances will be higher!
It's great that you've been able to create these and make them available for fan enjoyment! Most people talk about it, but don't do it!
My expectation is that rather than it be a legal thing, Frontier would need full control over anything that is directly associated with the game product itself including anything delivered with it. With content that someone else creates there will always be something in the style, tone, quality etc that won't sit quite right with the original concept, so they can be tricky waters to navigate.
I think the Elite: Dangerous Kickstarter campaign will benefit from the buzz of fan created content. Frontier could do well to create a page of curated fan created content (representative shot, blurb and link to original). Everyone would benefit. An update containing this or a link to this could be posted on Kickstarter and it's in everyone's interest to promote its existence and get people to the project page.

Well, i have been told the comic webpage and all details have been forwarded to mr David Braben himself, & I am to await HIS response.

Let me say that again. The guy who made a legendary game and pillar of my childhood is checking out my work. Whether or not he uses it, that's a pretty awesome statement. I feel like a kid in the 90's who is told Arnie is coming round for dinner

I can change characters likeness if needed. There are some ships from elite in the comic, but the ones in the comic are more detailed for graphical reasons

Thank you, all of you. Honestly, when I put each page together It was always on my mind "Is this good enough? does this stand up to the hardcore Elite fans? Is it going to get torn apart by the critics?" I really do not know to this day how I managed to get it right, I really don't, but from all the positive support I have received from all you guys I somehow convinced myself that I must be good at something. I Just cant wait to get my current project (First Contact) finished just so that i can finally finish the comic for you all.
I know how patient you have all been, I also know how you can't wait for part 5, but I promise you, one day early 2013 while you are all posting Elite Dangerous threads I am going to pop my head up and say "Surprise!" and have the final comic for you all.
