Question. How soon do you think people will hyper analyze this particular post?
HE SAID HYPER-ANALYZING!
HYPERSPACE CLUE CONFIRMED!
But "water" wasn't. :p
I...Uh...

No UA hunting for me tonight. Instead I'm working on a UA skin for the ASP got a couple of cool ideas and then GBBO(we all have our vices )

Saw a theory yesterday that the UA is leading us. Something about it leading us towards the California Nebula which possesses several systems that requires permits (http://www.hostingpics.net/viewer.php?id=746456Screenshot0029.png), which in itself is not really important. I scouted the area but nothing important about the area. However, perhaps finding a black hole over there may yield some results. I know of one system that has a black hole (https://i.imgur.com/yCBxvu2.png). Edit: This system is in California Sector space but not the nebula area.

I will be returning the CN after I install some better modules because my ship has a terrible scoop and no scanners.

Not my screenshots by the way.

Yeah, I hate to say it but 'muddy' was just a figure of speech; you folks are really into your hyper-analyzing

Ok so we are supposed to "hyper-analyze" "muddy" planets? Lol thanks for putting this out there. People were getting carried away with your every word.

Has the UA been deployed next to toxic waste ? I just used the debug cam to watch some.... it makes a noise. Hissing as it leaks. And ejects particles. .. one man's waste is another man's gold !!!

Actually, with the HR 1172 find, we know that it is not necessarily a black hole that is involved in finding them (free floating).
All finds so far have been in the Pleiades, though that might also not be a necessity.

I hope this isn't a hint at the answer from hacking, if so you should not have taken it on yourself to "hint" when the source is cheating......just trying to help you understand Murp's justified hostility.

Still we tend to apply a bucket of salt with these things.....if i had a biscuit for every time someone claimed to know the answer........:D

Don't take it this as an insult nor what I said the literal way or out of context to annoy you... some people are taking thing's with too much salt the same way people don't watch what they eat. I had the answer way before ''what I did'' I just wanted to be sure I wasn't wrong, unlike some people here I haven't contributed to your ''research'' which allowed me to spent a great time reading this topic and looking at it in a more broader and less subjective way. The same way people don't read the ingredients in the back of a cereal box. Ample and distance are the key words here.

I think it's funny how people use creativity to answer the question (not in the bad way) but it won't answer the ''puzzle''. I mean if anything it goes to show nobody is really paying attention, there are references to popular actors, star wars and even some of the most popular movies from the 90's in the game in form of text and objects does it mean this is the answer to everything ? Ask yourself the question, is it a riddle or a puzzle, a dev said did you listen to it, that doesn't mean the answer lays in the sound it makes, he could just be making a reference to something less subjective and more linear.

Don't over-think outside of the box, when I said spend less time on wikipedia and play the game ... I really meant the answer is not to be found in some programs or doesn't really require such advanced knowledge to answer the question. The answer lays in playing the game, that is obvious. It wouldn't be fair to everybody if the answer was overly complicated to answer, would it ?

There is something you guys haven't found yet, a dev hinted it already... I don't know if you guys are paying attention but the clues are right in there. Don't forget those who designed this game intended you guys to find clues and not necesarrily the answer right away, put yourself in their shoes and ask yourself ; how do I make a puzzle ?

If I was you guys I would start reading some of the old-topics and start listening to people like this guy and start asking yourself some very simple questions, like this guy did :

Sorry if this was discussed before but HR 1185 is such a weird place to have UAs spawn. The devs said they spawn in particular places and its hinted that they weren't just random places. Someone mentioned that it has some ties to Thargoid lore?

Is HR 1185 closer (physically) to what we're looking for?

This can't just be coincidental.

To be honest, I've been trying stuff that isn't even in the Wiki (that I'm aware of). Visiting every station in systems that UAs have been found in, or that are referenced in "interesting" Galnet articles. Looking for any exotic materials in the Commodity Markets, or unusual missions in the Bulletin Board. Checking outfitting for any weird modules for sale. Then looking at the system traffic report to see any exotic craft listed there, or any unusual traffic patterns. Searching back through the local Galnet feeds for anything that doesn't pop up in the Galaxy feed.

Thought I was being clever, still ended up back in square one.
