@Sole Hunter

I have to say, the way you are responding to these comments loses you all credibility for me; it appears you are out to belittle people for having a bit of fun.

If you came up with the answer before breaking the EULA trying to prove it, why didnt you pitch it to the good folk here? Its all a bit... convenient.

Ok, two things HR 1172 and HR 1185 have in common are the B-class stars and high metal content planets with some sort of atmosphere.

Something like that. I've been to other systems near those, but had no luck.

Another thin I just realised. The systems where the convoys are spottet might have no meaning or a different pattern to them. We basically have two events. 1. the convoy 2. natural UA spawn

1. Is basically us figuring out what to do with this thing, so I think only the most recent discoveries actually might give us a way to the source, which is
2. Why are the UAs in these specific systems. We should list them and list all planetary body, star and what else might be of interest in and around that system. Maybe how old it is.

The UA could just be a probe that was sent to investigate something in these specific systems. Or it could be a terraforming device. Or both.

Maybe the UA was sent out to find specific planets and "infest" them with spores or even life-forms, so that some time in the future a civilisation would rise on that planet. (Going back to one of my very early thoughts here.)

If we find a pattern, we can isolate the criteria and maybe continue guessing what is so special. And later (in Horizons) we can touch down on these rocks and look for more answers.

You must admit, the amount of knowledge on mythology and stuff that has been put up here is quite interesting and amusing.
Even if the riddle never gets solved, due to overthinking or simply religifying (is that a word? doesn't matter now it is one!) their/our method,
this forum voyage has been a very efficient experiment to have an overview on what people expect and want.

I, 100% agree and it takes people like you who can think logical to understand that, I'll just repeat the same answer I gave to this wacky dude in my inbox. He thinks he have the answer doing the crazy reverse psychology on me thinking he can get the answer, He's so smart he never expected me to post the message on the forums, can you believe it !:

I wasn't sure if you knew before, now I know you don't ;) I havnt posted on the new thread. Any guess why? And no, they are no where near. There was 1 test back in July. I'll let you try to figure out which one it was ;) check near the end of July.

You are quite the funny guy, popcorn worthy but not very smart maybe you have a PhD in egyptology or idiocracy can't tell which one.

If you think you have the answer post it, I for one have the answer but I just can't stop reading the wacky theories this community can come up with, it's hilarious that's why I will never give the answer.

Hell ! I still can't believe IGN had a damn article about it maybe they will mention my name in the next sidewinder radioshow, who knows I'll keep it that way.

Also keep trying you are not going to get the answer.

Btw you should all watch this 2006 movie ''idiocracy'', it's a good example of the current situation in here lol : http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0387808/

btw I can't wait to hear my name in the next sidewinder show, gosh im cocky loool.

1. Zenith... Had no idea you had a UA. Was this in Lave or something similar? Pledged to Feds? Was I in an Orca killing in founders world? Sometimes I kill vets in founders world with my Orca for the giggles. I have been following this UA thing from the beginning and EIC has 3 UAs of our own. Wish I had known :(
I do murder lots of people... but its usually in Lave or because they pledged to Hudson. Hope all is well and it seems we have figured out how to get UAs consistently so I can drop one for you if you want.

FDEV this is why we need a UA skin for ships... ^^^^

2. To the guy asking about searching Peoine. I searched the whole system on saturday. I dropped it at every planet, moon, astroid belt, ring. Took me forever but could not find the crashed thargoid ship from FFE. Nothing changed with the sound, lights or direction.

Do you think obama lose credibility when he makes a joke about a Predator drone even tho it's the reality, your argument is non-sense just like thinking pretzels come from a tree. My scientific approach to this thread is more aggressive but if anything I'm acting as a self-cocky mediator for the crazy one trying to put you guys back on the right track, if you can't tell it already I don't know where to go from here.

I already answered ''along the lines'' why I haven't posted before in my second or third post, too lazy to go back reading myself.

Well we got B stars, and a Black hole. That means tons of gravity.

Also someone mentioned metallic planet with an atmosphere, I see that and raise Gas Giants, the kind that are hot and red though in 1185 it's listed as a III which it shouldn't be and correctly as a IV in 1172.

I totally agree with you CMDR.

The Convoys are simply "transporting" what they've found somewhere else: I've never gave any importance to their location: I've found Hafnium convoys all around the bubble, and UAs have been found both in Federal, Imp and Indipendent systems... they are simply founding them and transporting them to be analyzed.

But those lone UA that've been recently found ARE a thing! Because they simply float there, so "someone" have put them there, for a reason.
Star type? Specific Planet's type? This thing needs to be investigated further, according with the Thargoids' official lore.

And CMDRs should travel and explore a lot, in my opinion: if you remember, back in the old days, we've always thought that the UA mystery was Exploration-related.
We stopped when we discovered that the UA causes modules damage.

Perhaps the mystery can be solved even without an UA in hold, but just understanding why they are found there and not somewhere else... exploring...

Y'see, Obama makes the joke without calling the population of America out as idiots. There's the difference.

If you want to impart wisdom, you are doing it wrong. Abusing some of these forum LEGENDS and laughing at their suggestions won't add any credence to your comments. If you want to help, do so in a way that isn't the way you are doing so at the minute ;)

So, as I'm catching up, I see that some of these UA's are popping up in the wild and DON'T decay. I'd say that's one of the most important discoveries since we started this 25k post odyssey.

I never called anyone ''morons'' where do you see that in my previous answer/post, you are using blind faith and miss-judgement based on your own opinion IF i think something is funny it doesn't imply the person is an idiot for suggesting it. It's people like you who will never resolve the answer because of your flawed egocentric self miss-judging issues. Look at this problem in a more linear approach, I said that like 30 post ago.

Maybe you should stop listening to me and start listening to this guy, he seems to know the answer ! you should try what ever they did back in july :

Indeed.
And in Pleiades, to be precise: all almost bluish young massive stars.
And seven markings on the UA.

And I'm watching to them right now through my telescope, under the black skies of Tuscany's country...
