It's 10 after wet socks in Little Britain, but apparently it's go-time in HR 1185

While it appears established that the UA degrading is just the same mechanic as other things expiring I still wonder about that scream it gives off at the end.
Do other containers make a sound upon expiration? Do they explode? Or do they simply disappear?

Had a few wierd things in the 'Red sone' of Sirus B.

- The empty SSS. I drpped in fine and stayed as long as the instance read 'Strong signal source'. About 10min.

- Lots of Low Wakes inside the drop out zone. Could not get close enoug to drop on them.

- 'FDS Online' message flashing on and of while I was just sitting there in super cruise.

Never sat still hugging a white dwarf before, so I don't know if it's relevant.

The empty SSS + wakes could indcate that you're sharing an island, and you've seen tha classical 'nobody is there' - the island owners may have the same issue.
It's a classical connection issue.

Found VOYAGER 2!!!!
Picture coming shortly!

Sorry, are you carrying a UA?

Just don't go hugging a black hole - when you come back all your family will be a lot older than you :)

Must... Rep... Ran... Out...

Any UA carriers around able to wing up and drop one nearby to get this one off the list too?

No commanders in the area at all. The low wakes were there on an of all the time. All I spotted when they came out again were Fed agents and Surus Corp. System authority.

I'll test again in the group server.

Anyone trying to look at this? It's something that has changed the purrs in the past....

You know I'm with you with the MASS test, as one of the first promoter of this test, long ago... I'll be back from holidays on Saturday.

Hey guys, what's the general consensus regarding a full lifetime recording of the UA? From drop, to death?

How many of you would be against 4 cmdr recording 4 angles at a decent distance.

1 more cmdr recoding the head up close

1 more recording from a distance

Several items dropped near the ua (sap8, AI relic, ect)

We could call it the "ultimate death test"

I want some opinions before i potentially do something stupid. We may not get a result but we would finally have conclusive death results. I'm thinking in sol. If any one would like to help send me a PM. If any one is against the idea, please let me know on the thread.

PLEASE!
Don't forget to put a ship very close to UA mouth, zero speed, with FSD charged and ready to jump!!!!!
It's a test being asked since day ONE!

ABOUT THE AZALEACH CG:
Been there two weeks ago, during my Helsey's Tour reproduction, and No CG there. All empty: even the local news. Nothing. NADA.

All Roads Lead To Lave

A theory. Bear with me.

The UAs have been found free floating in the Pleiades region. Let's call this the source (for now)

We have encountered UAs being carried by convoys from somewhere to somewhere else (in transit)

We've been told that we're over-thinking it.

There has been talk of simply selling the UAs in the right place.

Does anyone remember this:

Galnet-weird science.jpg

It talks of strange alien technology turning up in the old worlds. Now we have more sightings we can start to extrapolate. For example:

https://youtu.be/Rpvcp-CQ4RI

A video of the galaxy map (yawn) showing the almost straight line from HR 1172 to Lave (cherry picking the sightings I'll admit) but try the same test from Bast to Bolg to Lave.

I'm extending the search for source systems away from Lave, currently heading for Alcyone.

Comments Welcome

++++REP!

Now please tell us how you did it, being 2M Kms from Sol, in the middle of nowhere.
When did it show up in your nav panel, for example? At what distance?

1. Used this video to find the general directions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CpPYsYrGVIc
2. Stopped at 2 070 000 LS.
3. Kept SOL at my lefter shoulder, at level 90 degrees.
4. Kept 'looping' and boosting short stints and flew randomly until I was close enough.

1000LS
