Pirate "black books"?

Hello! bought the game recently and already put over a 100 hours in! love it! I had a thought about the pirate "career" and that would be a type of black book containing authority and bounty hunters with prices on their heads the opposite of a bounty of course! this could result in player farming authority ships resulting in larger bounties and so on so forth, PVP would have a possible huge credit gain and loss of course. What does everyone think?

No.

Part of the reason why is in-game logic. Bounties are, in theory, placed on criminals by governments and powerful corporate and political organizations with lots of cash. Where would the money to fund anti-bounties (theoretically) come from? There isn't a wealthy, civic-minded funding body that pays for anarchistic behaviour.

People who take part in piracy aren't interested in making money, because it's the worst-paying "profession"; they've usually got more money than they know what to do with and they're just out looking for fun, usually PvP fun. Placing anti-bounties on NPCs is not something that would interest them.

Actually there are sometimes missions against authority ships - paying very well.
It's not a wide spread given thing like bounties obviously (no larger body as you said) - but you can have it if you want.

I immediately thought of this...

But no, not awfully keen on anti-bounties as a concept.

Black book entries on NPCs and players I was thinking mafia crime syndicates and cartels, does piracy have to be the worst profession? so that's set in stone then? In solo it would add a new style of play as in if you are a bounty hunter a pirate would know how you are! that even makes sense in the real world, also making being a pirate worth doing. and in open it makes a whole new twist on pvp why would a pirate bother looting freighters? unless they would never survive a pvp situation.

Go to Freeport. Lot's of "kill the bounty hunter" missions as well as missions to target authority vessels.

The problem with that is, it makes no sense from a financial stand point to bother with such missions, the time is better spent elsewhere that's kinda the issue. yea not sure how to edit my last so yea..
