It's a starter option. If you clear save and have this KS reward, you will have it instead of regular Eagle.

We will be issuing to players who could have started with this ship, so you can try it without deleting your save - although that's still an option

Still have a question. I'm a backer at the 40£ level, which includes the ability to start with a Cobra as a Federal trader but seems to also include the ability to start as an Imperial bounty hunter with the Eagle. Am I going to get it too? I would imagine I'm not the only one. Basically, if the level of pledge includes 2 or more starting ships, are we all getting them or only the highest option? I'm thinking we're getting all of them because I still have an Eagle gathering dust in LHS 3447...

I just delete my save every now and then in order to try a working my way up a different "path".

Like starting a new character as a different class in RPG games. (MMO or otherwise)

Okay... where will the ship appear? The place where we started, or LHS 3447? Because depending on the price of the Imperial Eagle and where a player currently resides, and where they started instead (e.g. Shinrarta Dezhra), the sheer opportunity cost to go to LHS 3447 and that long supercruise to fetch the ship may be higher than just buying one somewhere else. Just saying.

Everyone can get it, but some backers can start with it when they clear their save.

I just checked, on the beta server mine is parked in Liabeze. I suppose that data is not available to the beta server? Or do you mean by Founder level the actual "Founding member of the Pilots Federation" level, and not the "can start at Jameson Memorial with all the ship options" level?

At the Founder level backer, not in game rank.
