Imperial Eagle is the backers free ship then?

Well, I deleted my Beta to start from scratch and it's fun flying my Freagle again (But it's a normal Eagle) so I guess I'll have to purchase the new one the old fashioned way

Nope. It is a rather late kickstarter reward. Only those that pledged to the right level or above on the kickstarter are entitled to it.

I thought lifetime pass was equivalent to kick starter? If not it's okay but I don't think that a free Imperial Eagle is too much to ask for the $180(? $180 right or $185...) plus the original $60 for the game.

And I got the other perks, access to Beta's, free lifetime upgrades, ect.

There were all sorts of different kickstarter pledge levels from £5 or so up to many thousands. Above a certain level (about £90 from memory) then as well as your other perks, you got lifetime updates. Most kickstarter backers pledged lower than that and so did not get the equivalent of the LEP.

I asked in another thread accidentally as it was off topic there but meant to ask here. I backed early enough for the Freagle and indeed got it once restarting beta (and very much having fun with it). I did not get an Emperial Eagle, just the standard model. Is this working as intended?

Probably. You are only entitled to the Frimpeagle if you pledged on kickstarter at £32 or more. Did you?

I pledged during beta last year. It came with the eagle. Think value was £50. No matter anyway. I got the lifetime pass a few weeks ago so all is well regardless. I just wasn't sure on there being those with the free eagle who were without the free Emperial Eagle.

If you were a beta backer, you are owed another free ship... the eagle was a bonus for the mercenary edition and not the promised free ship. Numerous threads on this, including mine... https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=164716

That ship (which is traditionally called the Freagle) was made available to us months ago. You can find where yours is, assuming you qualified for it) by finding a stored ship icon on the galaxy map or by going into the shipyard when docked and using the stored ship tab.

That one I already know of. I was referring to the second free ship listed as a reward on top of the freagle.
Perhaps I was mistaken?

Well, there is a ship coming up (when we get to 30, so probably in the 1.5 release) for which we will have 'free access' (not yet defined), as compensation for FD missing their ships target on release.

And then there is the Cobra Mark IV, which we will find similarly available if we buy Horizons (or the LEP, of course).

Both of those are yet to come.

Apart from those and the Freagle and the Frimpeagle, I know of no others.

Cool thanks for the info. Perhaps we all get a Hunter or a Dolphin then. I can't imagine getting anything bigger considering which ships seem to be upcoming.

I am not really in the mind to delete my save (I have yet to be killed in game, so am trying to keeping it going as long as possible) so does that mean I am not going to get a frimpgeale unless I do delete my save?

In the ideal world, it will just appear in Shinrarta Desrha when I next fire up after go live of 1.4, but I guess that is not the case?

Cool. Thanks for responding (+1 rep added also). It'll be handy as I flogged my freagle at the start to pimp my Cobra and was thinking about getting a combat spec ship set up.

Greetings I put a bug report in about the Imperial Eagle as I backed past the bounty hunter level. I was talking with players in teamspeak and in the live game, all was fine until they asked me about the ship as we were given it free. Well I have never been given it and the support ticked response I got says no one should have been given an Imperial Eagle sad to say this thread proves the responses I normally get from support is WRONG. So please as I should have been given an Imperial Eagle I would like one very much.

Thanks for your patience once more. What you're referring to is the following Kickstarter perk:

Imperial Bounty Hunter: Have the option to start in an Imperial Colony with an Imperial Eagle Mk II Fighter with upgraded weapons and shields and 1,000 CR (randomised start system choice for multiplayer reasons).

This is an option available when you first start the game; it is not simply a free Imperial Eagle. In order to claim this, you will need to delete your commander and start from scratch. You also have the following scenarios available:

We will be issuing to players who could have started with this ship, so you can try it without deleting your save - although that's still an option
