Ships Quite possible one of the sexiest ships I have yet to own...

The only issue i have with her is the fact that there are only 2 weapons hardpoints..... its just too dull to use! If the could only have included 1-2 more hardpoints I would be much happier flying her... plus the small jump range and fuel makes it a pain in the bum to move around. I much prefer the DBS as a result... same overall shielding and armour but better speeds, far better jump range and similar DPS output.

I had the DBS prior to this, I loved that ship. Wonderful addition to the ED family. :)
But there's something about the Vulture that tickles my ankles more; she looks great, she runs great, plus I've got two E3/G Pulse Laser duck-tapped on; those babies eat through shields like a puppy at dinner time; destroying power plants is much easier/faster too. Python's melt before me. :D hehehe - now I just need to start taking on those 'Conda assassination missions. *nervous*

Edit: I don't mind the jump range; the fuel scoop makes for longer journeys, but at the same time, I can then hunt Wanted NPC's in the system I'm scooping in. :)

I bet the insurance is expensive on that beaut, not even a scratch on it!

Not at all. Even in the most expensive fit, the rebut cost is less than half an hour of grind in the profession the ship excels in, bounty hunting. In fact, you may get that rebuy from a single assassination mission. In this regard I believe it is one of the cheapest ships in the game with the exception of the Freewinder. It is the cheapest of the "high-end" professional tools perhaps.

i hated flying double-pulse on the Vulture.. boring as hell! I used Pulse+Cannon combo instead as it meant the Pulse weapon could literally fire non-stop the entire fight and then the cannon came into play when you got 'em lined up just right... none-the-less i found it terribly dull.

By comparison the Python i found far more entertaining to fly despite its sluggish nature due to the wider variety of weapons and SCB fittings you'd rotate through during extended combat grinds. (same with the ANaconda)

My goal is the Clipper, then the Python..
Or it would be .. if I was given any Empire rank missions. :(

I am enjoying the Vulture though, a lot of fun (will have to try Python and others as well, but for now, Vulture is definitely the most fun I've had).

I went from the Vulture to the Imperial Clipper. If I'd been flying any other ship before the Clipper I'd have loved it, but the Vulture spoiled me. Nothing in the game moves like that, handles like that, is as much fun as that.

The DBS is faster, has a better thrust-to-weight ratio and near identical maneuverability stats (and thats cancelled out by the fact that a DBS has more powerful thrusters)... really the only difference is the weapons loadout :p

On a side-note the fighting in the Python is a completely different feeling from the Vulture... its the real go-between of the larger Anaconda and the smaller fighting vessels because really its the first ship that doesn't rely on maneuverability to act as a defence mechanism and instead relies on a combination of armour and shielding to keep you alive instead.... but it can still be an interesting ship to fight in.
