Pieced the whole darn thing together in Lego Digital Designer and waited impatiently while it rendered in POV-Ray. Inspiration and motivation provided by Scornshells absolutely brilliant Lego Sidewinder: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=31908

And some not-as-pretty shots captured straight from LDD:

Thanks for looking!

Sorry! You're going to have to redesign the whole thing! It's clearly not to scale to fit one of these in properly!

...and you also now need to go and do the Anaconda, to scale too of course!

Nice job BTW!

BTW - I took a standard Millenium Falcon Star Wars lego kit, and put in to lego lights so the engines light up, and the lights at the front flash.. When you build your Lego Cobra MK3 for real, you'll need to include a couple of these :)

I've been thinking about lighting mine too eventually - there are a bunch of options out there...

I registered specifically to thank you for this!

I'm not sure whether I should thank you or start a GoFundMe to pay for all the bricklinking this is going to cause... And the disparaging looks from my girlfriend!

Can't wait to dig into this and give it a go! You are a star (-ship pilot)!

This +1! I was already mentally preparing myself to reverse engineer the model from the images I saw on Reddit. Now I don't have to; I can start toying with it right away! :)

That is, after my current project (6500-piece mini-fig scale space shuttle) is done, anyway. :(
