Looks great - if I ever get enough space bucks to pay for it.

Please, for the love of God, let it have a large enough internal slot to mount an appropriately large shield -- unlike the Assault Ship, Dropship and Gunship! All 3 of which have to mount shields that are too small for their hull mass.

They are "civilian" ships. This is a Federation Navy ship.

The news letter states 2 medium 3 large 2 huge weapon mounts. That means that it is more powerful than an anaconda.

Well that's dissapointing, the original loadout looked about right for a conda sized combat craft (as opposed to Multipurpose) But that new layout... I think I'd rather the Conda's loadout, the placement is already pretty much perfect and on the current huge options 2 large are better than 1 huge in terms of damage per shot and second.

unless the corvette has better other stats to compensate or is considerably cheaper than a conda I don't see it getting used much.

I'm wondering if this ship will be like the Vulture is to the Asp.

Slow, but highly maneuverable and capable of bringing its blistering main guns to bear on target more often.
