The space stations in Sol are beautiful!

All I can say is wow. I got my Sol permit about a week ago and just now decided to make the journey to our home system. My first stop was station Daedalus, which orbits Mercury, and it looked much different than the stations I'm used to. I've only been about 12 square light years from and around LHS 3447 (starter system). It was so beautiful, I knew I finally made it, and the thrill of actually flying in our very solar system hit me. I orbited Earth next and took in its awe, flying around the dark side of the planet and witnessing the millions of lights covering the continents, so amazing. My next stop was Galileo. Gorgeous space station I must say. Then on to Li Qing Jao and to Mars high after that. Truely amazing and a nice fresh experience from all the stations I've been used to. Now I'm off to Titan city, got a good smuggling run there ;). If you haven't gotten that permit to Sol yet, I highly recommend doing so. It's an awesome place. See you guys there .

Climb Fed rank by doing combat missions and submitting BHing voucers to Fed factions controlled stations.

That's not how I did it on my PC account. I have the Sol permit but I don't have any rank with the Federals, I've not done a single mission for them.

I have no idea how I actually got the sol permit. Just that I didn't get it from climbing the federal navy ranks.

Edit: Nvm - this is why I have the Sol permit on PC without the rank.
  • All Alpha and Beta backers were given an automatic permit to Sol.

How do I get my pass to go there?
Only been playing a few days so far so still in the learning process

Just do a bunch of missions for federation aligned factions. I got my permit by doing mostly smuggling runs, you make good money and eventually a promotion opportunity will pop up on the bulletin board.

There are 3 in Sol:
- Gallileo (Moon)
- M Gorbachev (Earth, not Mars)
- Mars High(you guessed it : Mars).

There are more outside the Sol System, in LHS 3006 for instance, that one should be known by any star trek fan, TOS era at least, not the name of the system, the name of the station and the planet below. One in Tau Ceti, and if not that one, then a nearby system. Alioth and Achenar must have some too, and certainly a few other systems as well.

Ah. Oh. Thanks. I stole that image from the PC forum where they said it was Mars, I can't access Sol yet :D
