Jaques station - where is it, and what is it doing.

Like the title says, Jaques station, haven't heard much about it lately, where is it, has it been moved recently.
Who thinks like i do that it could be used a lot more, for missions perhaps, and even better, lets have a CG to give it a rare good, the rares could then be in different places, maybe somewhere far out maybe like the Sophis CG, maybe even at sag "A", wow what a CG trek that would be.
Lave radio/Hutton orbital, could organise a convoy to Sag "A", have to be a daily episode for a few weeks sort of thing though.

Yeh, just found that, but it's been quiet for a long while, be nice to use it in some way to make an interesting CG like the Sothis one.

He has been at Gliese 1269 for several months now. I was afraid he might have been forgotten by the devs, but apparently that's not the case:

Michael Brooke's said the other day at EGX, that Jacques Station does have a purpose. Guess we have to wait and see what that is (but hopefully it's won't be a years wait).

I made the same mistake when naming my thread. The reason you don't find it in the galaxy map is that it's called "Jaques Station", without the " c", not " Jacques Station".

search for "Jaque", and it turns up. it's called Jaques Station ingame, not Jacques Station...

Wasnt the Station ("Unity") moved to New Yembo as a final destination and home system?
However, New Yembo is a nice -not too far away- system and should get a dedicated mining CG (platinum, etc.) ... there is a nice prestine metallic belt in the system.

You mean it actually has a Commodities market now? It didn't have anything at all when I went there, though that was some time ago admittedly. You couldn't even refuel, let alone repair. I don't even think there was a bulletin board. There was absolutely NOTHING you could do there. This place should have a party and service-based economy.

went there, got the rare, so yes, it does have a commodities market.

no the main part (docking area) was built and moved to new yembo, the station is not finished yet had a half built ring last time I went. If I remember correctly it is a new generation of moving occolus stations, the construction was backed by Universal Cartographics.
