So just after getting my new Anaconda back to my trade area, fresh out of the station (all stock except for the 128t cargo space I added). I got interdicted by a wing of NPCs two Anacondas and a Vulture, so I put four pips to systems and two to engines an gunned it, and engaged my FSD. Even with all of them behind me pouring lasers and bullets into my rear, my baby held out. Sheilds did go down, hull hit 60% give or take, but I made it out.

Then I noticed my cargo hatch had been damaged... Lucky for me I wasn't running anything expensive at the time. I'm in love with my new ship. --Momentai ;]

Well all you really say there is that you want 8 beam weapons.... you don't specify if its for combat or trading so who are your 2 alternatives:

Though if you were SERIOUS about running an all-beam build for prolongued combat I'd be tempted actually to replace all the shield boosters with heat-sinks as 8 beam turrets will pump out INSANE amounts of heat... that above build i'd say is more suited for short-term combat like bounty hunting.
