I know from bitter experience how difficult these things can be. People seem to judge the complexity by the number of words in the sentence. "Upgrade the servers" @ say 10 minutes per word that's half an hour. Come on IT what are you doing?

Here is an idea. How about they'd just state "Upgrade starts at 8:00am BST, we don't know when we'll be up and running again" ?

Give it a break. They'll run servers as soon as they make sure everything is fine. Even David told now during the stream they stay there late to make sure everything is working today. Have patience. You can't really predict all the time how it's going to go, especially with such a complicated systems that they have.
