I pre-ordered this thinking it looked wow in the woods scene and hoped it would bridge the gap of space sims and BF4 but be such cinematic fun for a while.
From what I've seen it all just looks like kids stuff. Perhaps it is and it lacks real skill and any realism but just fancy graphics. Before even playing I feel I'd rather not bother to be honest. The one thing that may convince me is if it will have VOIP Proximity (it won't) and Squad Leader Radio to a Commander (I doubt it and it's already limited to just 40 players), and if it utilizes Freetracknoir/TrackIR as playing fps with a stiff neck is outdated!
What's your thoughts if you've Pre-Ordered it too?

Let me tell you something, as a Battlefield veteran.

NEVER EVER, under any circumstances, preorder anything from EA. EVER. No matter what the game or how good it is, just NEVER preorder from them.

So no, I haven't preordered it. My wild guess is it will be Battlefield 4 with Star Wars skin, with their usual money-sucking techniques in forms of DLCs, Premiums, etc.

Graphically beautiful, cross-platform, dumbed down and buggy.

I have a longstanding grudge against EA for a lot of reasons, most of which are pretty much standard throughout the gaming community. Here's why I'm not buying SW: Battlefront 3 any time soon:

Remains to be seen, but with EA's mileage and reputation and actual "quality" these days - nope, not going to pre-order anything from them.

Same here played all the BF stuff. And I totally agree about preordering from EA. this title is on my new year bargain sale radar at the very most and my decision will be based heavily on various review sites opinion.

For my money I'm plumping for the PC release of metal gear online in January as my next multiplayer shooty shooty game. It looks stunningly good.

Tested it out quickly before dinner, so far it does seem like a Battlefield game. Spawn in at a designated spot or next to your partner. Shoot and kill people to earn exp and money so you can unlock and buy new weapons. Going to test some more tonight, but so far I've only been able to try out the Hoth planet where you have to defend or attack the power generator.

Feels like a number of set pieces, beautifully done of course. It kind of feels like watching a movie you have seen before and skipping to the next action scene. Really disappointed. Judging by my kids reaction it will not be on their Xmas lists.

So far looks nice, but its just Battlefield 3/4 retextured and re-modeled to Star Wars - still fun for a SW fan like me :D

EDIT:
Its just the same old thing as BF, mixed with CoD spawns and fast paced messy pew pew - wont be purchasing this one for sure, saving money for Mass Effect Andromeda.
