It sucks if new players or people in unarmed T6s are being zapped in and around Sothis, but if you called it home then you've just got some new noisy neighbours. They'll move on eventually and everything will be back to normal, isn't this the ebb and flow we want in a living and breathing galaxy?
All CODE is doing by killing traders/smugglers is driving them to solo. Traders aren't going back to a lesser trade route. I suggest you filthy pirates adapt or, well, find a new hobby.
Has FD confirmed open/solo mode swapping is an exploit? This is what I like to call a "feature bug". Many of those feature bugs have become big part of hugely succesful games. E.g. mutalisk stacking in Starcraft, bunny-jumping, GTA's aggressive cops was a bug and now look at it. I think there's a golden opportunity for FD to make this an actual feature by either listing more missions or have a refresh missions button to query a new list.

check in after 6 months, find new exploit thread which could have been copied from an old one, back to the shadows!
Unrelated their new stuff looks like its moving in the right direction, I see they finally updated the refinery to be automated too looks like a member of staff finally tried mining. Keep it up FD i'll be back in the future if you keep going

Blockades are pointless if code actually want to do damage they should blockade the starports just out of range of the no fire zone then hit pilots to just demand people leave is daft as all they will do is 'Oh im off to Sothis, hmm I think I will do this in Solo as there are a bunch of berks killing everyone'.
Also as pirates go the group sounds more like mass murdering campers who just hang around shooting people when they go by. If code start singing religious camp fire songs I might have to shoot at them myself.

They could just buy a cargo scanner and kws and troll people at the starport. Enjoy the Fine.

You're adorable. I was talking about my initial question being sarcastic. Of course there is more than Sothis. That was my point.
