Powerplay Power play ranking question

Hi,

I am currently looking at my ranking in the power play view. I am currently "Rating 1". Under the "Merits Earned", I have earned 750 Merits this week.

How do I now get to "Rating 3", as I have the 750 merits? Do I need to go to a control system to do this, or can this be done from anywhere?

After the cycle ends you get the rank based on the merits you earned this week.

Ok, the cycle is now into the next week, and I am now "Rating 3". When going to claim my salary, my salary is still 1000. Do I need to wait until the next cycle to get the 500,000 bonus?

Next week you'll be rated 3, after the next week you get the salary

You always get your salary based on your last weeks rank. That's why you get 1,000 Cr now. Next Thursday you'll get 500,000 Cr for this week's rank 3.

It's confusing, I know...
