I expect both CV1 and Vive will have full ED support from Day1.
I will buy both asap so ill probably do some ED related review between the two.

According to the press release "Elite Dangerous willsupport Vive on PC from launch via a free update available Holiday 2015" - presumably this is referring to the 1.5 release.
