If I heard DBOBE's natter correctly, there might be a preview of the new planets. Although you can only land on them in Horizons, the new rendering of the landable planets is also used in 1.5, so the planets without atmospheres may look more impressive.

And some new ships.

Does anyone know for certain who will have accress to this? Just Beta Backers or those with Horizons Beta too?

Fair enough either way, i just want to know if I should get excited or not lol

We don't know 100% for sure, but a good working assumption would be the following:

1) Season 1 (current) beta owners will get beta access this week.
2) Season 2 beta owners who don't have season 1 will get access to the beta system when Horizon's beta is released.
3) Season 1 beta owners who don't have Horizons beta will continue to have access to beta but only to non Horizons funcionality. Hopefully there are enough of these to regression test the system for those who don't have Horizons.

These are my assumptions based on the currently released info.

Also, just as a reminder to everyone, please don't assume the beta is coming out on Monday - the official statement is that it's some time this week so it will be whichever day FD decide.

I'm most excited to try the new Viper among the new ships, I hope better internals will make it more versatile, like the Cobra. And maybe I'll get a taste of one of the big warships if they're cheap in beta, since I probably won't get a chance to buy them before many months!
