Hey mods or anyone who may know, those of us that got the mercenary edition were supposed to get one of five ships that were to be added later (meaning now). I dont think this was talking about the freeagle. Any idea if we get one of these ships free or whatever? Or what was that promise talking about?
Edit: I think it was the merc pack. I bought the standard beta (thus getting the merc pack), I'm pretty sure about seeing something where we got one of five ships.

Mercenary Edition was the Eagle Mk.II and the Crimson paint job
The One of five ships was for the backers and is the Viper Mk.IV

Thanks for clearing that up. Hopefully we can put the merc skins on the MK IV ships. 
Its the new Viper model.
So, think 1.5 will be treated like a normal beta and release publicly after 2-4 weeks or will it only be released along with Horizons at the end of the year? Cheers!

Don't forget that the beta galaxy is a snapshot from a while back. In 1.4, the snapshot was a couple of months old!

No idea if there's even an update coming in the morning. It was the week of, not the day. So it might have an update, or it could be friday!
My experience is that they had released updates at the evening or even in the last minute or hour of the day it was announced to be released. (UK time ofc)
Edit: Just like the weekly newsletter it was always posted around 6pm GMT.

The UA might possibly change its sounds like it did in 1.3 and 1.4
Maybe it will now say something like "All your base are belong to us. Especially Merope." and it will take people three weeks plus millions of CPU cycles just to find that out.
