Oh yes I did. Oh yes. And docked it. With a Coriolis Space Station. Oh yes, I tell you.
*shuffles off, giggling manically*

You're on the list........death will not be swift because I will take out your life support and leave you drifting for 2 minutes.....;)

It's an unwritten rule in forums that when a person makes a statement like this, they must prove it with pictures or video or risk the consequences.

Exactly.

Not that I'm jealous you understand. :D

Taking a selfie while docking/launching requires more limbs than is normal for a human. Sorry folks, I wish I could provide pics. Ask the bloke manning the screen to the far left of the BAFTA Elite Dangerous booth. He'll remember a rakishly handsome sandy haired and goateed biker in a black and orange leather jacket and helmet.
Although having said that there were a fair few cameras whirring about, I was probably caught on some or more of them.

I can tell you however, that you sit in the left seat when flying the Cobra. And it sounds a bit different to the sidewinder - a bit heavier if you will. And handles heavier too.

You can also view your spaceship from outside when docked. That was really cool, the Cobra sitting in it's slot having been lowered from the landing pad into the parking deck: gear down, cockpit lit up, it just looked like a real working starship!
