Ship Builds & Load Outs Are class 2 PAC's really just Thermic?

I have a Gunship and was going o equip 4 class 2 PAC's for their ammo advantage over Rail's but noticed when looking at stat's that unlike the class 3 on my Python they say just "Thermic" instead of "Thermic/Kenetic." So is it a typo, or are they really Thermic weapon's at class 2?

They seem to be, yes. Although I distinctly remember it saying "Thermic/Kinetic" on C2 PAs when I first started playing. Don't know if this is a bug, but doesn't seem right to me.

I think it's a bug. From the 1.5 beta patch notes today:

Changed damage types and made sure outfitting has the correct stats too for the plasma accelerator

We'll have to see what that actually means in-game though.

Personally, from using two on my Gunship, although they're listed as thermic it feels like they only do kenetic damage. They're pretty gimpy on shields, but do great hull and module damage.

Will swap rail's for PAC's once 1.5 is out then thanks.
