Powerplay I'm in a enemies command system.

I have been undermining an faction for a few weeks now. I have arrived at his command system. what to do?
tried to dock at a station, received docking permission. no scan warning yet all npc's decided to open fire on me had to get out quick. me being daft am still carrying all my merits 4260 I am still in system but now docked at an outpost. nothing in contacts for me to do to try and take control of this system for my faction, took out some targets that should have give me some merits, I got nothing for them

is there any point me coming here?

It's generally not a good idea to go the your enemies station waving the kill tickets in the air shouting "woohoo look how many of your pilots i just killed" !

Once you've been to an enemy system to undermine you need to return to one of your own control systems to hand in the merits. Going to one of the stations in the system you have just undermined will get you killed as not only are they hostile to you, you will also be 'Wanted' in a big way in that system for killing their ships.

Also, not sure whether the merits you're carrying from previous weeks would still be valid as the PP cycle updates weekly.

I understand the risk of going in there. though I thought there might be some action / something to do in the system. found nothing so I left to drop off my merits. B4 I lost them

I came across a system called nanomam, I killed plenty of ships to earn 3000+ merits and got no bounty's on me. free to kill whoever and not becoming wanted. went back and now its my factions territory

Oh ok, so Nanomam (according to EDDB) is a Federation system controlled by Hudson, if it were an anarchy you would not get a 'Wanted' status however it appears to be a Democracy so unless it changed recently you would be wanted in that system.
Also, killing all those Fed ships would have cost you Fed rep across the board so returning to your factions space (if it's Fed) you may well be disliked (hostile or unfriendly) by Feds.

Reason i mentioned "woohoo look how many of your pilots i just killed" is because you posted "I have arrived at his command system. what to do?" (emphasis on 'his').

Assuming i understand you correctly, your Fed rep is probs now very poor, you need to get to a non-Fed control system of your faction and hand in your merits (Contacts/Power Contact), then start working on improving your Fed status by doing missions for a Fed aligned minor faction somewhere.

it changed recently. I went to a control system to drop off merits. not wanted, not hostile my rep had dropped. though now its going back up
