So..which ship is Elite's Millennium Falcon?

I've seen the side-by-side comparison elsewhere. yes, the MKIII is about the same size. A little wider and a little stubbier, but basically the same.

As far as iconography is concerned I'd have to go with the Cobra but if you compare the states of the Millennium Falcon with the stats of the Asp Explorer you'll see that they are very similar.

Ya know the one thing Solo could do was outrun people. So far in my Type 6 no one has been able to kill me cause I run like forest.

So the T6 is the MF. period

Its a YT-1300 light freighter made for trading , thats what the ship is ment to do.
however han solo moded his ship to move faster , turn faster and added an ilegal turret (by regulation the 1300 only have one)

so until we can tweak our ships beyond regulation no ship is the faulcon

If the Type6 (corellian yt1300 freighter-stock)

Could have gonzo engine upgrades to be as fast as a viper (able to outrun tie fighters)

And incredibly contraband military grade Panther sized shields (Secret is safe with us, Lando)

And get one of its gun mounts moved to the roof (both turreted)

that would be close.

I love my T6 and my DBS, had a Cobra but it was to small and i love seeing the reverse thrust in the T6 when i come into a pad hot :D

I said the keelback because it's a type 6 but it has the rotating thrusters.

I would like Frontier to get the type 6 remove the cockpit from the front and add a loading door there and then get a cobra and connect it to the top like the Firefly and then get the outer thruster cells off the Imperial Clipper and attach them to the side and get the large thruster off the back of the Imperial Cutter. And call it the HummingBird for one of the Alliance Ships.

Sorry for the Necro but I'd been meaning to get this done for a while now but I was out exploring and couldn't get back to my Cobra. For those discussing the size of the two ships I "roughly" superimposed the cobra over the falcon, when you take into account that the two seats are further apart on the Cobra MkIII I think its fairly accurate. The Falcon is certianlly the bigger ship but not by much. My vote certainly goes to the Cobra being Elites "Falcon". Its got the pedigree, its got the style and its about the right size :D

I suspect the Anaconda is much closer... similar in width but longer than the MF. It might be best to think of the MF as a Anaconda-ish sized ship with Cobra-like roll and pitch rates.

the anaconda is about 5 to 6 cobras in length.
