Umm... it was seamless probably because nothing happened. This clip did not show any transition from space.

Thanks for insights.Actually that display is showing the current local gravity - it does change as you change altitude (actually very noticeable on tiny planets). It's also currently rounded to 1 decimal place for now, hence 0.1.

Will gravity apply to other bodies? Am I going to have to be careful coming out of supercruise near, say, a stellar body? Like, I don't know, a black hole?

Yeah I thought so mate, but since while Braben was flying near a base you can see how the "approach system" changes colour as it happens while you drop into any zone. If it works the same as in open space I'm cool with that. Is the natural way any ways.

Anyone else notice the planetary coordinates there? Lat/Long will will come in handy to mark down for some treasure locations

Texture streaming is still an issue.... but its better than the tearing I usually get from planets when you look at them as you pass them by.
