So, any change yet to Bond Hub? Or is that expecting a result too quickly?![]()
Bond Hub has no visible problems. We have to wait for GalNet.

Too right! I'm Spanish living in the UK. If you think about it we are all foreigners in most places in the world, let alone the Galaxy!Don't worry. We're all foreigners!
Exactly! All are welcome in the Canonn!
However, I will open fire on anyone who shoots an alien in a first contact scenario. These 7 fixed weapons on my gunship arnt just for looking prettyyou've been warned, with love <3
I don't know the specifics, I only played e84, but apparently there was a Thargoid wreck in Pleione. The system doesn't now even bear much resemblance to that version.
Ya im not holding out for a wonderful first contact

I have no problem with shooting first. The key, however, to any successful encounter with aliens, is shooting last....
How about a nice hail, letting them know that we welcome them into human space and all our spaceports. There's an immortal poem that would serve well in such situation and which is luckily written in a manner that aliens would very likely understand:
Roses are red,
violets are blue.
All of our base
are belong to you.

I think the main difference between the INRA and the Canonn is that we would rather join the Thargoids than defeat them. Even if the 'goids came at us with guns a'blastin' we'd die with our arms wide open and our tin foil hats shinning in their laser.
In my head this is what will happen if Huros finds the first Thargoid moon base in Horizons.
Close enough?![]()

I have no problem with shooting first or not shooting first. The key, however, to any successful encounter with aliens, is shooting last....
FANTASTIC!!! Nice one, Pat of the Crazy Eyes!
No, I sold it in 2008 and the new owner put the hat on. It was a bit of a cumbersome car, one of the last MG hatchbacks (a tinfoil hatchback so to speak) to leave the factory before it went bankrupt.
