Quicker to walk than hyperspace now!

Im leaving open play until they sort out the hyperspace jumps. Its ridiculous. The jumps are taking longer and longer, come on get it sorted!

And odd, heavy bugs. First my escorts to not get their trade dividend at all and then they only get 1,072% instead of 5%.

Servers are currently under heavy fire. I assume a Dev it using the server bandwidth to load... errr.... stuff.

Fair enough. The problem is didnt anyone foresee any of this, and if you were a new player how would you feel? Another issue is this games about a year old, should be less bugs creeping in than new ones mate.

Going Solo will probably not fix it, you are still playing on servers

Some people have said that solo was better. Whatever the situation, its frustrating. I just wish things like this got fixed a bit quicker, it has been going on for a few days now.

Yes solo should be fine, you only need the servers to record your stats.

I'm blaming the Black Friday offer, the poor servers don't know what hit them.

Yeah, I alt-tab to internet, then quickly jump back to steer away from the sun, once the game loads back up. It is already lengthening my trading runs.

My money would be on this...its on sale right now on Steam for 15 bucks...if you google Twitch and Elite, you will see a very large page of Elite streamers...a good portion , new players...and im assuming they took advantage of the Steam sale.
If Twitch feeds reflects this increase in streamers...Im sure its the same for non streamers...
Im thinking FD didnt predict the load this would put on their servers...
