I don't know about Horizons Beta but I am surely thinking of ED every waking moment now. If only I am 15 years younger, without wife and kids and jobs, I would be playing RIGHT NOW! such is life, sigh! So, now I am thinking of Horizons, simply because of the 29 Midnight skins, LOL! I don't know if I have time to explore planets as I need to get my ED mastered. But that skins!
Glad you're excited, OP. I'm pretty excited to see what 2.0 holds as well, but I'm not going to play the beta. I'm simply going to wait until Horizons hits properly. So for me, tomorrow is just another work day
At just an extra £10 I had to go for beta. I admire your willpower to wait until it hits properly.

I reckon it's about 2:50 AM in the UK right now so it's a good time for everyone in the Elite community to send him a text message saying "Are We There Yet?!!!"
I don't think his mobile provider could keep up with how many messages he'd get.
You think you have an addiction? I have 1400 hours logged on steam for Elite who knows how much more before that and in total.

You think that's bad. Try triple elite, admiral and King with all permits unlocked, 20 imperial hammers stored on 10 vipers and every class of prismatic stored on other ships. How many hours spent... no idea and I don't want to know.

There was I, rushing back like a madman to the bubble so I'd be ready to pick up an SRV tomorrow.... and then I remember my position will be whereever the db snapshot was taken to I might as well stay out here.
Just found a ringed icy world that'll do for my first landing, so parked up in the ring there. It'll make an interesting comparison to see how different it looks from orbit between the live game and the beta. 1 more sleep!

No problems sleeping was working started at 7pm my time sundat and have another 2 hours to go, I am having the opposite problem trying not to sleep lol.
