No icy planets?

Tried to land on an ice planet and got 'dropping! Too close!'

What is, and isn't included in the initial release of Horizons?

I think you maybe having the same issue I am having which is you can't land on planets due to a bug. One guy says it's because the game thinks you haven't bought horizons

Icy planet can have atmosphere, so you will be not able to land there. Maybe that is the case here.

Remember, only airless worlds.

Icy planets are there and landable.

You can only land on the ones that have a blue marker in the system map.

The one you tried likely had an atmosphere.

I see. Thank you. I was able to land on a rocky moon and drive about for a while, so this icy planet must have had an atmosphere.
