Time for a few community goals to build a few exploration moon bases in nebulas!

At some point they're going to have to. As the game progresses through this season and subsequent ones, the need for CGs and missions to keep up with the new features will become more necessary.
Well instead we could think of something for them to do to help out. How about that?
First we need a research base in orbit around Saggitarius A*
Yeah sure. Didn't mean to offend.
I propose the Witch head nebula. Close enough and looks cool.
Also we could name the base something like Cauldron's Bottom.
Why would anyone bother? It's just another supermassive black hole. Given the size of its accretion disk, it'll probably be spinning quite fast but otherwise there's not going to be much research to do there; it's a tourist trap.
Now, a tourist trap, that'd be fun: "1.9m/cr to repair my cargo hatch!? WHAT!? What does a cup of Insty-Bruu cost around here? Uh oh." Admittedly, parts would be hard to stock.
They wouldn't have to. I don't remember if it was a live stream or a forum post but they did say that those without Horizons could do the CG in space stations like now while others work on planets, so both people with and without Horizons can contribute to the same goal in their own way.
None taken, I hadn't even considered that people with out Horizons wouldn't be able to land or anything.
No accretion disc there in E : D (I've already been there). But it would be an ideal resupply/repair point.
There is! It's the only black hole in the game that has an accretion disk. It's called "The Galaxy"
They have already said there will be Horizons CGs, but they want to get the balance so season 1 owner still get their fair share.
They were even saying that outpost facilities on the land can be adapted on the fly to work into CGs.
